China seems to be getting deadly serious by posting 300k troups on or near its border with North Korea. This also includes a few anti-missile batteries that could shield the Red state from possible missile launches from the North Koreans or possibly from attacking forces such as the United States.
Previously, China had positioned some 100k troops including heavy artillery and tanks along the border with North Korea. Pundits claimed this was to control the flux of refugees and retreating North Korean soldiers from illegally crossing over into Chinese territory.
But with the build up of some 300k with more on the way, according to some sources, it leaves one to believe one of two things. Either China is preparing to invade the rouge nation itself in order to exert its control and influence once again, or it is preparing for an inevitable US lead invasion and plans to come to the aid of the North.
Either case is not a good sign for North Korea or the region as a whole.
