Amazon is trying to get on top of what is happening to their vast shipping and delivery service. It seems they are legally delivering packages to customers that those customers were not expecting.
Yes, there is someone or a group of someones buying surprising gifts for random folks around the US, Canada and UK. People are getting Amazon packages and finding things they did not order. But when they contact Amazon, they are told the items were indeed purchased by someone.
The items have varied but there seems to be a trend that is coming about. People are opening their Amazon packages and finding vibrators. Yes vibrators. Most people getting such a “gift” find it amusing.
Amazon is increasingly not amused.

Nothing new. You can send anyone anything. We’ve always been able to do this: Be it the postal service, the pony express or the king’s messenger. So why target Amazon? In the late 80’s I had a friend that thought it funny that someone had subscribed to Ebony magazine for her father, who was a white bigot and racist. Every month, he got that magazine in the mail and he hated it! Eventually he was successful in canceling his subscription!
