I have read some tripe in my time but this has got to be in the top 10 of all time worse pieces of crap to ever go to print. No wonder the NYT is thinking of scuttling their printed version of the newspaper.
If the new movie from Marvel Studios is a huge success, like it is being touted to be, then there will be lots of kids of all skin colors who will want to be the main hero, Black Panther.
Now understand, Black Panther is a fictional character from a fictional county on the continent of Africa. He is a super hero and of course lots of boys and girls are gonna wanna be this super hero after seeing the movie. Its the same for any super hero movie.
But the Times thinks that since this particular hero is Black, white kids should not want to be him. Its appropriating American Black Culture. Huh?
Whites would be appropriating a fictional character’s fictional non existent country’s culture?
