The US Oil and Gas industry is on a tear. Remember back when under President Bush (43) that industry was booming. So much so that they had a hard time finding people to hire to run all the rigs and platforms.
Well, under a President Trump that industry is roaring back. The industry is all abuzz about all the areas now open to exploration. But the industry as a whole is running into a familiar problem.
Lack of properly trained and skilled people to hire to run all of those new platforms and rigs. These are very high paying blue collar and white collar jobs that American Citizens would want to have.
There just isn’t enough qualified people to hire. So that means wages for this industry may soon be on the rise again.
Question is, why is it that nobody wants to go into the inner city of black and brown neighborhoods and train the young people in these sorts of jobs? There is a double benefit to doing this.
One you give people an opportunity to earn a very good living doing honest work. Two you actually take these people out of their bad neighborhoods because these rigs and platforms are usually not located in or near major cities.
Its a win win for America.
BTW, the previous mega jump was also under President Trump when he first started relaxing Obama era regulations on the gas and oil industry. Let that sink in.
