Americans Expect Biggest Pay Jump In Years, Not Crumbs

There is high optimism in the American public and in the American economy.  This is being reflected in paychecks of working men and women in the nation today.

There is high optimism for higher pay both in the form of lower Federal Income taxes and in actual higher wages.  Both salaried and hourly employees are feeling the optimism.

This flies in the face of what Nancy Pelosi of California said a couple of months ago when she was asked about the growing list of companies raising wages and issuing bonuses to their employees.  She said those things were “just crumbs”.

It seems that these wages and bonuses and benefits are not considered crumbs to the American worker and they fully expect for things to get even better in their paychecks this year.
